Show dad some love this Father's Day. 

BRIEF: 

Data showed that compared to mums, dads were 60% less likely to be recognised on Father’s day. Dads need love too, especially on Father's Day.

 

IDEA: 

We hijacked the supermarket tannoy and played out emotional messages from loved ones to show how much dads mean to us. And of course we sold some Tesco Father’s day tat.

 

OUTPUT:

TV, Youtube, Facebook Instagram and X

 

RESULTS:

16 million views, hundreds of thousands of positive comments (this is very unusual for Tesco) and father’s day specific gift sales increased by 23%.
